Most AI models understand text or generic images. None of them understand space — where things are, how they relate, and how they change over time. Layrd Labs is training the model that does.

We ingest satellite imagery, SAR passes, cadastral boundaries, land registries, infrastructure networks and demographic layers — aligning them into a single, queryable representation of the physical world.

Surface Classification

The model identifies and labels land cover at parcel level — rooftops, pavement, vegetation, water, bare soil, industrial surfaces — updated continuously from multi-spectral satellite passes.

Vehicle & Object Detection

Detect, count and track vehicles, machinery and structures across large areas. Useful for logistics, construction monitoring, port activity and retail footfall estimation.

Area Movement & Change Detection

Compare scenes across time to surface meaningful change: new construction, land use shifts, flood extents, crop cycles, demolition — flagged automatically without manual review.

European ground truth.

US-trained models don't generalise to European land registries, property law, cadastral systems or satellite archives. We train exclusively on European data — giving the model accurate priors for the geographies, regulations and infrastructure networks that matter here.
